Top 5 Reasons to Work out:

Posted on Posted in Training Articles

Working out is not an easy task, if it was then everyone would be walking around with a great body. Though it is not easy to work out regularly and to keep track of your diet but it is worth it. There are numerous benefits of a healthy diet along with a good workout regimen. Here are the top five reasons why you should work out:

  • Feel more Energized

When engaging in physical activity, the blood vessels that go to your muscles dilate, causing an increase in blood flow and oxygen to the working muscles. This, along with a temporary increase in your metabolic rate, causes you to feel more energized. This “burst of energy” not only occurs during exercise, but also after that.

  • Some Jerks expect you to Quit

You tell them that you are starting a workout program and they just roll their eyes. They expect you to fail and don’t think you can do it. You will prove them wrong and will love to see their faces as you succeed. Take a minute and create a list of these people. It may be one or many. Write them down and look at these names before deciding to miss a workout.

  • Reduce Stress

Researches have shown that working out is a great stress reliever. Doing exercise releases hormone epinephrine, another name for adrenaline. This hormone is responsible for an increase in blood flow, which carries more oxygen to the brain, thus making you more alert. Being more alert and aware of your surroundings helps you to deal with stress effectively. Also, exercise
stimulates the release of hormones called endorphins, or the “feel good hormones.” These help to improve mood and feelings. Many people find that they feel better after a stressful day if they exercise.

  • Decrease risk of illness and Keep focused

Exercise builds up and improves circulation of our white blood cells, which we need to fend off harmful bacteria that cause us to get sick. This helps to prevent us from getting sick. However, regular exercise also helps us in post illness recovery. Also, by exercising regularly and eating a healthy diet improves blood flow and your hormones are at optimum levels, thus increasing your ability to concentrate.

  • Look good and Boost your Confidence

Obviously, exercise can improve your appearance which can improve confidence, but there’s more to it than that. Exercise can also help you fel more accomplished and social. Even if you don’t see immediate results in your body, that effort will make you feel better and a bit of confidence can go a long way.
